- It is all Solid wood. NO MDF or Veneers!
I am pretty sure it's Maple in a golden Light Natural Stain.
- It has a solid footboard that hooks into the bed rails and slats that support the mattress and box spring if preferred but not necessary.
- The Headboard is actually a roomy headboard and shelving unit for books, trinkets, toys or keepsakes.
- It is very well constructed. And almost blemish free except for two or three small nicks in the footboard that have been repaired and are not overly noticeable and would be hidden by the bed's comforter anyway.
